劇情簡介
《巴爾的摩》Thelatestbypowerhouseartist-filmmakerduoChristineMolloyandJoeLawlorpicksupathreadfromtheirlastfilmTHEFUTURETENSE,asoulfulinvestigationofIreland’stumultuoushistory.Here,usingtheformofaheistmovie,theytellthetruestoryofRoseDugdale(playedbyImogenPoots),ayoungheiresswhorebelledagainstherEnglisharistocraticupbringingtovolunteerwiththeIrishRepublicanArmy.In1974,Dugdaleandhercollaboratorsswiped19paintings—includingRubens,Goya,andVermeer—fromaprivatehome,usingthesetreasuresasleveragefortheliberationoffourIRAprisoners.LawlorandMolloy’shighlyatmosphericthrillerplungesusintotheTroubleswithheart-stoppingintensity,andPootsisrivetingastherevolutionary.Beneathherradicalfacade,weseeherfragilityandinnerturmoil,asshewrestleswithappreciationforthebeautifulartifactsofaworldshehassetouttodestroy,andthefearofthechaosshehasunleashed.
